Duncanville Police Warn to Avoid the Flat Tire Scam

The Duncanville Police Department is urging residents to be aware of your surroundings while in parking lots, shopping centers, and while getting gas.  An increased number of incidents involving citizens getting their vehicle tires cut have been reported in Duncanville.

It appears that an individual is intentionally damaging citizens’ tires and then appears when the citizen figures out the tire is flat and offers to help fix it for money.  This individual is targeting elderly individuals and women who are traveling alone.

The only description at this time is a black male.

Anyone who finds themselves in this situation, or if you see any suspicious activity occurring you are urged to call the police.
