Duncanville Detectives Release Sketch of Murder Suspect

Duncanville Police Detectives, with the assistance of a Forensic Artist, have produced a composite sketch from witness descriptions of the suspect connected with the March 6th murder of 74-year-old Barbara Vincent Strain.

Witnesses describe the suspect as a white male measuring approximately 5’9” in height, thin build, last seen running south from the scene wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.

A $10,000 reward is being offered by Oak Farms Dairy, as well as a $5,000 reward from North Texas Crime Stoppers, for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the person(s) responsible for this felony offense.

On March 6, 2013 at approximately 7:25 a.m. Duncanville Police Officers were dispatched to a shooting in the 1300 block of Highland Dr. Upon arrival, officers found Strain shot at the front door of the residence.  She was transported to Methodist Hospital by the Duncanville Fire Department MICU where she was pronounced deceased.
