dewittDonald Floyd DeWitt, 82, a resident of Duncanville, passed away September 15, He was born in Hitchcock Oklahoma, February 7, 1934 to parents Fredrick Valentine DeWitt and Nancy (Crosley) DeWitt.

Donald grew up in Oklahoma and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He worked at Oilwell Supply after moving to the Dallas area. He also worked as a security guard in his later years. His greatest hobby was playing the lottery with his best buddy, Chas Bloomquist, in Wisconsin.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Galloway; brother, Fred DeWitt; and sister, Glenda Hoke.

He is survived by his wife, Annette DeWitt; 2 sons, Donnie & wife Joy and Kevin DeWitt; 2 step-sons, Mike & wife Annette Knisley and Tony Knisley; 14 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; sister, Mona Wright & husband Kermit; sister-in-law, Carolee DeWitt; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
