DHS Football Gets Ready to Kickoff the 2012 Season

Playing in what is being the toughest district in Texas, the Duncanville Panthers varsity football team gets ready to kickoff the 2012 season against Colleyille Heritage on Friday night at Panther Stadium on the Duncanville High School campus.

Duncanville joins Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Grand Prairie, Midlothian, Mansfield, Mansfield Timberview, Midlothian, and South Grand Prairie in District 7-5A.

Head Coach Jeff Dicus came to Duncanville in 2007 and has a 23-22 record.

Duncanville fell to Colleyville Heritage in last year’s kickoff classic at the Cotton Bowl by a score of 28-21.

The next game will be September 7 against Abilene at Shotwell Stadium in Abilene, before returning to play Mesquite Horn on September 14 at DHS.

District 7-5A play starts on September 21 against Midlothian, in Midlothian.
