Duncanville ISD – The Duncanville High School Marching Band wowed the crowd at Standridge Stadium in Carrollton Saturday with its ‘Postcards from Paris’ show in the 22nd annual Tournament of Champions marching competition. Duncanville took first place in the contest that featured performances by 20 marching bands, including Arlington High School, Lewisville, Richland, Summit (Mansfield), Sherman, McKinney Boyd, McKinney High School, J.J. Pearce (Richardson), and Centennial (Frisco).

Duncanville’s 2016 program features marchers who create a striking visual of the Eiffel Tower, band members who ride bicycles in and out of the rows of musicians and the High Hats who dance with oversized flowers.

The three-time state champions are hoping to make it back to the state competition in November.
