RognessDelia Buenaventura Rogness died February 24, 2016. She was born March 14, 1933 in Manila to Felicidad and Fidel Buenaventura, Sr.

She was married to Norman Rogness for 49 years before his death. She was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Fresneda Hidalgo and Jean Lara.

She is survived by her three children, Robin James Rogness, Robert John Rogness, and Virginia Anne Thompson; one brother, Fidel Buenaventura and wife, Christine; as well as 13 grandchildren.

She graduated from St. Paul College, Manila, where she was a soloist with St. Paul College Chorale and was also a thespian with the Drama Club. Delia was an avid world traveler and a season ticket holder for the Fort Worth Symphony. She also volunteered with the Red Cross. At Holy Spirit Catholic Church, she was a Eucharistic minister and Lector. She was also an Auxiliary member of M.O.A.A.

jaynesMass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 am, Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Duncanville, Texas.

Interment will in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery on Friday, February 26, 2016 at 9:15 am.
