DBU’s Youree Records Personal Best 7th Place in SEU Invitational

The DBU Patriot Men’s Golf Team recorded an 11th place finish of 17 schools at the St. Edwards Invitational, on Monday March 5 and Tuesday, March 6 in Austin, Texas.

Freshman Jamie Youree tied for 7th place overall in the tournament and recorded a personal best finish thus far in his inaugural season as a Patriot. Youree shot a 75 in the first and second round and a 73 in the final round, marking a +6 score for the weekend (223).

Senior Brandon Johnson also contributed to the Patriots finish with a 74 in the second round and a 79 in the third round, to finish 39th overall (235).

Junior  John Olin turned in scores of 77 in the first round and a 79 in the final round, to finish 55th overall (238) to help lead the Patriots.
The Patriots will be back in action Monday, March 12 –Tuesday, March 13 as they compete in the Notre Dame de Namur University Invitational at the Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore, California.
