DBU Patriots Men’s Soccer Beat SAGU 3-0 for Third Straight Win

DBUPatriots.com – The DBU Men’s Soccer team picked up its third straight win Saturday in a 3-0 victory over Southwestern Assemblies of God at Patriot Soccer Field. After an uneventful first half, the Patriots buried three goals in the second period. Michalin Dennie opened the scoring with his first goal of the season in the 46th minute. Garrett Morgan picked up the assist on Dennie’s goal.

Ethan Martinez provided insurance with his second goal of the year 7 minutes later. Josue Vazquez netted the third and final goal in the 86th minute on a cross from Billy Burford.

Tyler Hofmann picked up his third shutout of the season, stopping the only shot the Lions put on goal in the 79th minute.
