The Duncanville Police Department is currently looking for people who live or work in Duncanville and are interested in learning more about the police that serve them.  The Duncanville Citizen Police Academy is about to start its 46th session and 23rd year in this program.  During this time the Duncanville Police have put more than 700 students through this 12 week course.

Duncanville Police PatchThis course offers classes such as DWI investigation, Family Violence, child abuse, and demonstrations such as firearms, tactical team, and traffic stops. Refreshments are brought for the class during each break period by our past CPA graduates that are members of the Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association.

The best part about the Citizen Police Academy is that there are no tests, and it is FREE.  Each class is held on a Tuesday from 7p-10p, with the first class starting, Tuesday, February 12, 2013.  We encourage and welcome you to come by the police department and pick up an application and enjoy a 12-week course that will quickly pass before you know it.
