Jordan McGowen, playing in his final regular season game as a Dallas Baptist Patriot, wrote history Saturday afternoon at Oklahoma Panhandle State as he led the Patriots to a 79-63 win over the Aggies. McGowen scored 15 points, collected 13 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists to record the first triple-double in the NCAA history of the program.

Dallas Baptist (15-13) stormed out to a 41-28 halftime lead and were never threated in the second half by the Aggies (3-23). The Patriots limited the Aggies to 41% shooting on the afternoon while shooting 55% on their own end of the floor, including 68% in the first half. McGowen was joined in double digit points by Nick Fox and Russ Johnson as they collected 13 and 10 points, respectfully.

Ishmael Awange picked up two blocks in the game and Ryan Marsh one. The Patriots had six steals on the afternoon with Donovan Bridgeforth leading the team with two. Four other players had one apiece.

The win over Oklahoma Panhandle will still leave the Patriots short of the conference tournament. Their next action will come in the NCCAA National Tournament with the game times and locations to be determined.
