Ann Britton, age 95, was born October 22, 1922, in Dallas, TX to her parents, Catherine and Ernest Biscomb, Sr. Ann passed away October 23, 2017.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ernest David Britton, Jr.; son, Thomas Eugene Britton; her parents; and her brother, Ernest Biscomb, Jr.

Ann is survived by her sons, Ernest David Britton, III and his wife, Jeannie, Stephen Lynn Britton and his wife, Carol, and Clifford Mark Britton and his wife, Treasea; 12 grandchildren, Alisha, Richard, Tamie, Amy, Anthony, Crissy, Courtney, Jennifer, Leslie, Ashley, Robin and Andrea; 21 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; brother, David Alan Biscomb; and four nieces, Cathey, Julie, Treon, Tracey and one nephew, Alan.

Ann, a proud graduate of the Sunset High School class of 1940, excelled in her sport of softball and lettered her senior year. Throughout her life, she was associated with a number of organizations, such as the Rainbow Girls-1940 Worthy Advisor (Dallas Assembly #33), Cub Scouts-Den Mother (Pack 132) and Meals on Wheels. During her working life, Ann was employed by Reynolds Penland, Wholesale Electronics and Republic National Bank Fair Park. Ann was also a faithful member of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, CWF Group leader, General Board Member and a Deacon.

Visitation with the family is 6-8 pm, Thursday, October 26, 2017, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Funeral services are 2:00 pm, Friday, Oct. 27, at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Interment will follow at Grove Hill Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
