Accessing DISD’s Home Action Center

On Wednesday, October 19, 2011 the district launched a new website, which is a robust content management system that offers teachers a variety of Web 2.0 tools like blogs and wikis that can be used in classroom instruction. The website product is called School Fusion.

With the change to the new School Fusion website, some confusion occurred regarding parent login to the Home Access Center (HAC), a parent portal that allows parents to see their children’s grades, assignments, and other classroom information. Because the website also offers teacher resources and tools, there is a user login feature for School Fusion. The User Login feature (now entitled Fusion Login) is viewable on every page of the district’s website. This login is not the login location for HAC.

There are three ways to access the parent login window for HAC. Two links are available at the bottom of the home page, and another link is available on the Parent Resource drop-down tab. They’ve create a document that walks parents through the process of logging into HAC through the new website. View that document HERE.

The Duncanville ISD apologizes for any inconvenience their users may have experienced, and they appreciate your patience as they grow with their new website.  You can learn more about the two different types of Duncanville ISD website logins – School Fusion and HAC –HERE.
