Attention, parents! The time to register your pre-kindergarten student (4 years old on or before September 1, 2012) is just around the corner. The 2012-2013 Pre-Kindergarten Round-Up will take place on Friday, August 3 from 12:00 to 7:30 pm and Monday, August 6 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. This enrollment opportunity will take place in the Reed Middle School Auditorium (530 E. Freeman Street, Duncanville 75116). Parents are required to provide proof of residence, valid parent/guardian identification, proof of student identification, proof of income, a copy of the student’s security card, and the student’s current and up-to date immunization record. All of these documents are required to register each student.
Eligibility for the Pre-K program is determined by a child’s ability to speak and comprehend English, economic disadvantage, foster care status, the parent’s active duty armed forces status, or status as a child of a member of the armed forces who was injured or killed while serving on active duty.
Attendance at Pre-K Round-Up is required to enroll a child in the program, but preliminary registration may be completed online before attending.
