Pantherettes Sign College Letters

Three Duncanville Pantherettes signed letters for girls basketball scholarships this week.

Kiara Perry will be playing for Southern Methodist University, Antoina Robinson will be at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock, and Destiny Means will be attending the University of Texas at San Antonio.

Robinson will be joining Morgan Bolton at the University of Arkansas, Little Rock.

Head Coach Cathy Self-Morgan, and Elesha Walker.

Kiara Perry is a three-year letter person and has played AAU basketball for 5 years.  She was second team all district her sophomore year and 1st team all district her Junior year. Her junior year she was named to the TABC All State 5A team and the TABC All Region 1 team.    She made the Academic All District 5 – 5A team her sophomore and junior year. And she was named the Pantherette Team Co-Best Offensive Player.  Her junior year she averaged 11.1pts, 6.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 3.3 steals. The Duncanville Pantherettes won the UIL State Championship last year and advanced to the Regional semifinals KP’s junior year.

Antoina Robinson is a two year letter person and has played AAU basketball for 6 years.   Her junior year she averaged 5.1 pts, 3.0 rebounds, and 3.1 blocks.  She was a District 5 5- All District player her junior year. Last year she helped lead the Duncanville Pantherettes to the UIL 2012 State Championship.

Destiny Means is a two-year letter person and has played AAU basketball for 5 years.  She made the Academic All District 5 – 5A team her junior year. She averaged 1.5 pts and 3.2  rebounds. And she helped the Duncanville Pantherettes win the UIL State Championship last year.
